  • Kacie Gagne
    Hospital Manager

    Kacie has been working at Camden Veterinary Clinic since June 2003. She was in high school and started out as a kennel technician and has worked her way up the ladder to being the Hospital Manager. She has a Bachelors of Science in Sociology; however her passion for animals leads her to continue her education. She received an Associates of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College. She currently has six dogs; Parker, Stella, Sparrow, London, Bindi, and Willow. She has a passion for rescuing animals and in her spare time works with Paw Paws Pet Rescue and serves on their Board of Directors. She also found out this year she is expecting a baby in April/May 2020!

    Brenda Ketola joined our staff in 2005. She is our Saturday morning receptionist. Her daughter Karen Avella works for us as well Brenda lives with her two dogs Bubba and Koral.

  • Casey Mothena
    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Casey Mothena is a registered veterinary technician with a special interest in animal behavior. She graduated with a degree in veterinary technology in 2013, is a member of the society for veterinary behavior technicians, and currently obtaining a certification as a dog trainer. Casey is certified by the AKC as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She has experience training dogs and horses both personally and professionally. Casey grew up with her own dogs, cats, goats, and competing with her horses. She began working in shelter medicine in high school and studied animal science in college before committing to a career in veterinary medicine. She now enjoys running training and socialization classes here as well as working as a technician at Camden veterinary clinic. She shares her home with her husband Zack and child Colton, three dogs (Tater, Paisley, and Rylee), three cats (Lil Bit, Princess Leia, and Obi-Wan), and has one horse (Connie who is expecting a baby - due April 2020!)

    Veterinary Assistant

    Alana is originally from southwest Georgia, but well-traveled through the northeast Georgia and Florida areas, Alana relocated to the Kings Bay area in 2014. Alana has been active in animal care since 2009 and started at the Camden Veterinary Clinic clinic in 2015. At home, she enjoys the company of her own pets, one dog (Yakone), three cats (Pepper Pot, Mr. Bojangles, and Elvira), her horse (Maxwell) and several chickens (all named Henrietta) and pigs (Kevin and Otis).
